...and I've failed again at adding new works. I've been finding it hard to get involved on my few hours off in a faceless community. Wonderful may it be, but we all hide behind our icons, our photos, or journal entries, with passers-by that read with minor interest, make a short, unfelt comment to seem caring and move on. I mean all that looks good, but how many of us really meet the real person behind the works that we like or the stories that touch us? There is an ethereal friendship for those seeking approval and attention, deserved as it often be, for works that would otherwise go unknown. But how much can ethereal praise amount to? We dote on those who favorite our works, thanking them as if it were some incredible gesture of compassion: to make them think we are good people that they should like? It is all about us. If people like our works, that means they like us, and that is what we all want, right? To be liked.
Now then, I've just returned from a 2 week desert backpacking adventure outside Escalante, Utah; across the slickrock, through narrow slot canyons, rappelling into deep massive walled canyons my camera never left my side, and hopefully, I can share some of the beauty that is the desert with y'all. I mean otherwise, a vast majority of everyone will never get a chance to see it.
Like me ehh?
